An edit on the traditional self-healing cutting mat for studio use is back. Edited with a wink and nod to how gravity/mass affects space-time. Playing with how that bending of space-time might visually translate to making the once useful straight lines of the classic cutting mat tool useless...a favorite practice of the brand. And an exploration of the idea that the “gravity of a good idea” changes the work and design process.
